Many business people contend business networking is a more cost-effective method of generating new business than advertising or public relations efforts. My Referral Network is a platform where businesses can create that business referral network.
Online Business Networking Chat Forum
On the top banner you will see the link highlighted in orange "Enter Networking Chat Forum". This is your gateway into our chat forum. You do not need to be a member to view, but if you want to contribute you will need to join.
Search businesses listed
a) Use the search tool bar on the left hand side of the page to search for businesses that are seeking a business referral network. Some businesses offer referral fees. Here is a snapshot of the search results screen:
b) If you would like more information about a particular business, click on the “detailed information” page to reveal the following information:
c) You can now contact the business by telephone to discuss a business opportunity and/or organise a meeting (members can also contact via email).
d) If you are a member you have the added benefit of listing your business and adding your own personalised web page:
The benefits of the personalised web page are that you can:
a. Add a business to your network by clicking on the ‘add to my network’ link. An email is generated by the system which notifies the business that you have added them as a business contact. Your own web page is also updated with the contact you have added.
b. Add a business contact that is not a member. Although your preferred contact may not be a member, they can still be added to your personalised web page. Simply add them in the category “My Other Contacts”. Once you add them, an email is generated which invites them to join your referral network.
c. Keep track of who is adding you to their business referral network.
d. View statistics that enable you to track how many people have accessed your profile and added you to their network.
List your own business
Once you become a member you can list your own business and add other businesses to your personalised web page. You also have priority to attend networking events.
The more information you can post about your business the better response and contact you are likely to get.
